Menstruation is a national process experienced by all females but has been a subject which has been kept under the raps and considered as a TABOO. There is need for making all female of all age groups aware that there is nothing to hide but be educated of the best ways to meet this natural re-occurring challenge. If better managed, it protects health and embracement but if ignorance exists, it can lead to physical & mental health complications. Apart from educating about the process, this requires emphasis on uses of hygienic sanitary pads and motivation to adopt the change. Menstruation is the reality to be faced with confidence and not a shame. We at Manovriti understand this need and keep on holding educational camps on the subject.
